Luum Awards 2024 seguira en Suiza, pero tendra voluntariados creativos en Peru

Luum Awards: el nuevo referente global de la publicidad con propósito

Luum abrió inscripciones, pero la gran novedad es que como nunca antes, un festival publicitario unirá a creativos del mundo en torno a actividades por un planeta mejor, en el Valle Sagrado de Los Incas, Cusco y Machu Pichu (Perú), una de las 7 maravillas y uno de los destinos turísticos más reconocidos.

Eso sí, Luum Awards continuará en Hilton Ginebra (Suiza), la cual ahora será sede de un encuentro de jurados donde se elegirán los mejores metales de la cuarta edición del festival en 2024.

Los participantes, invitados y ganadores de Luum 2024, podrán participar en cualquiera de los 4 voluntariados por un día que la organización promoverá con organizaciones locales e internacionales en temas de Infancia, medioambiente / cuidado animal, bienestar y culturas andinas en Perú. Además, los participantes podrán apoyar estas y otras ONG´s con campañas creativas posteriores al evento.

Mauricio Rodríguez Vargas, líder de la iniciativa CSBWCreatives and Strategists for a Better World – y CMO de Luum Awards 2024, se refiere al motivo que inspiró el nuevo formato de Luum“Si solo nos dedicamos a activar y posicionar marcas o productos, seremos profesionales cumpliendo una labor de marketing. Pero si además de ello, construimos acciones y comunicaciones por un mundo mejor: seremos auténticos agentes globales de cambio”. Y recalca: “Ser verdaderos agentes de cambio desde la comunicación, no es sólo diseñar piezas para un portafolio. Es tener claro de que se podrían incluso salvar millones de vidas, con una comunicación sincera y con propósito”.

Luum, además invertirá en el proyecto local VidaWasi, una organización no gubernamental peruana que está construyendo un hospital infantil, en el Valle Sagrado de los Incas: una región de población andina con múltiples necesidades.

 

 

Luum Awards: el nuevo referente global de la publicidad con propósito

Cabe recordar que Luum Awards, premia a los mejores trabajos de comunicación con propósito social y medioambiental. En un formato, donde las agencias cargan hasta 5 entries sin costos de inscripción, y donde solo los ganadores pagan derechos de premiación. Los participantes pueden cargar sus casos en alguna de las 8 categorías del festival: Causes, Society, Planet (protección animal), Health and Wellness, Human Rights, Institutional Communications, Designs for a Better World y Essence of the Message.

En la edición anterior se entregaron 98 oros y platas (no se entregan bronces), siendo VML la network del año y en segundo lugar estuvo la red McCann. La agencia del año fue VML HEALTH Spain, VML New York y VML São Paulo, que en conjunto presentaron la múltiplemente premiada campaña “Dogs Without Borders” para SFBO (FRENCH-BRAZILIAN SOCIETY OF ONCOLOGY). La agencia independiente del año, fue la sorprendente firma africana X3M Ideas de Nigeria.

Caracas, Venezuela Venezuela sin Límites, the foundation created by Oswaldo and Mireya Blavia de Cisneros on April 7, 1999, is celebrating 25 years of unwavering commitment to the social transformation of Venezuela. Since its inception, the foundation has tirelessly worked to improve the lives of millions of Venezuelans through innovative, sustainable, and high-impact initiatives.

Under the visionary leadership of Mireya Blavia de Cisneros, Venezuela sin Límites has faced and overcome significant challenges, such as the Vargas Tragedy in 1999, just eight months after its founding. In response to this catastrophe, the foundation demonstrated its ability to respond quickly and effectively by launching the "Vamos a Encontrarlos&quot; campaign to help in the search for missing persons and mobilize resources at a critical time for the country.

"Our lifelong commitment is to help those who need us most, and over these 25 years, we have succeeded in fulfilling that mission," stated Mireya Blavia de Cisneros. "We have adapted and reinvented ourselves alongside our network of over 400 organizations and 100 strategic allies, which has allowed us to benefit more than 4 million people and finance over 400 projects across the country."

One of the fundamental pillars of Venezuela sin Límites has been the Social Investment Fund, a flagship program that connects Venezuelan and multinational companies with social projects that meet four essential criteria: sustainability, innovation, real impact on beneficiaries, and the ability to create positive ripple effects in society. In 2022, the fund was directed toward projects aimed at mitigating teenage pregnancy, aligned with the "Todo a su Tiempo&quot; campaign.

In addition to resource mobilization, the foundation has focused on the institutional strengthening of NGOs through training and capacity-building. "We believe that social transformation is not only achieved through economic resources but also by strengthening the capacities of organizations on the ground," Mireya Blavia de Cisneros noted. Therefore, Venezuela sin Límites has developed a virtual academy, workshops, and meetings that provide new tools for the efficient management of its network of organizations.

The collaboration with Corporación Digitel, one of the foundation's main strategic allies for over 20 years, has been crucial to the success of its initiatives. This partnership has enabled the financing of numerous social projects and the mobilization of more than 1,500 volunteers, who have significantly contributed to the foundation's mission.

"Celebrating 25 years of Venezuela sin Límites is a testament to what can be achieved when wills and resources are united for the common good," concluded Mireya Blavia de Cisneros.
